Our Keynote
Mike Cessario
CEO & Founder of Liquid Death
A former creative director working for agencies like VaynerMedia and Porter & Bogusky, Mike began his healthy beverage company in 2017. He asked himself, “What’s the dumbest possible name for a water brand?” and Liquid Death was born. What started as a viral commercial that cost $1500 has now become a company valued at $1.4 billion. Liquid Death’s metal meets planet-friendly ethos has struck a chord with millions, quenching the thirst of skateboarders, construction workers, and even kids who usually prefer energy drinks — the toughest crowd to crack!
By leaning into irreverent humor and radical storytelling, Mike turned a gimmick into gold. Now, Mike will share his invaluable insights on crafting a brand that shatters the status quo, resonates with audiences, and forges new trends. So come and learn how to be big and bold from the baddest beverage brand in town, only at Activate Summit.
